RUN Ministries' colleagues on the ground in Nepal are working hard to get food to the victims and to rebuild homes, schools and churches in 6 villages of the Gorkha District. Each village has approximately 450 homes.

The Nepal government has given authority to RUN’s Nepali Rescue Project's Director to lead relief efforts for the district of Gorkha and five additional Village Development Communities (VDCs).  Locals are eager to participate in the rebuilding of their communities.

RUN’s Nepali Rescue Project works with a registered NGO in Nepal and will continue to provide relief aid and recovery assistance to the Nepali people. Currently, RUN Ministries has expedited 4000 tents, along with blankets, food, and other essential needs to over 36,000 people!

RUN’s work in Nepal focuses primarily on rescuing girls from human trafficking. Girls that were once victims of trafficking, who were rescued, are now part of the RUN Ministries relief team that consists of 14 fulltime workers and 30 volunteers.
